## General Questions

### What is Dominium?

Dominium is infrastructure for programmable intellectual property licensing. It combines blockchain technology with Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) to enable automated, privacy-preserving IP transactions—including AI training on licensed content.

### Who is Dominium for?

* **IP Owners**: Creators, studios, enterprises with valuable IP portfolios
* **AI Developers**: Companies and researchers who need legally-licensed training data
* **Enterprises**: Organizations looking to reduce IP licensing overhead and monetize dormant assets
* **Licensees**: Anyone who wants to use IP with clear, automated terms

### How is Dominium different from Story Protocol?

While both focus on IP infrastructure, Dominium emphasizes:

* **TEE Integration**: Secure environments for AI training without exposing underlying IP
* **Restaking Economics**: Economic security through staked collateral
* **Enterprise Focus**: Designed for B2B licensing at scale, not just creator-to-creator

### What types of IP can I register?

Any intellectual property that can be represented digitally:

* Characters and artwork
* Music and audio
* Patents and trademarks
* Datasets and databases
* Written content
* Software and code

## Technical Questions

### What blockchain does Dominium use?

Dominium is built on a Cosmos-based Layer 1 with EVM compatibility. This provides fast finality, cross-chain interoperability, and smart contract support.

### What is TEE and why does it matter?

TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) is a secure area within a processor that ensures code and data are protected. In Dominium, TEE enables:

* **Private AI Training**: Models can train on your IP without the raw data ever being exposed
* **Verifiable Computation**: Proof that training occurred within the secure environment
* **Data Sovereignty**: IP never leaves the encrypted enclave

### What is ERC-721R?

ERC-721R is a revocable NFT standard. Unlike standard NFTs, ERC-721R licenses can be automatically invalidated when licenses expire, payment terms are violated, or the licensee unstakes below required thresholds.

### How does the staking system work?

To access the Dominium marketplace, users must stake tokens. Staking grants access, determines tier privileges, provides economic security, and automatically invalidates licenses if stake is withdrawn.

## Licensing Questions

### How do royalties work?

Royalties are enforced automatically via smart contracts. You set royalty terms (e.g., 5% of revenue), and when a licensee generates revenue, payment is calculated and pulled automatically—no invoicing required.

### Can I set different terms for different use cases?

Yes. You can create multiple license tiers with different prices and restrictions for personal, commercial, enterprise, and AI training use cases.

### What happens if someone violates my license terms?

Dominium has multiple enforcement mechanisms:

* **Automatic Revocation**: License NFT is invalidated
* **Stake Slashing**: Violators lose staked collateral
* **Dispute Resolution**: On-chain dispute process
* **Legal Enforceability**: License terms backed by real-world legal framework

## AI Training Questions

### How does AI training on Dominium work?

1. IP owner registers asset with AI training enabled
2. AI developer stakes tokens to access marketplace
3. Developer licenses the IP for training
4. Training occurs inside TEE enclave
5. Only model outputs leave the enclave—raw IP never exposed

### Can AI companies see my raw IP?

No. Within the TEE, your IP is loaded encrypted, the model trains on the data, and only model weights are extracted. Raw IP assets never leave the enclave.

## Economic Questions

### What are the fees?

Platform fee: 10% of license revenue, distributed as:

* 20% → Buy-back and burn
* 30% → Staker rewards
* 50% → Protocol treasury

### Is there a token?

Yes, $DOMI is the native token. Details will be announced closer to launch.
