## Terms

### AI training license

A license type that permits model training.

It can require training inside a TEE enclave.

### CometBFT

The consensus engine used by many Cosmos chains.

It provides fast finality and high throughput.

### Cosmos SDK

A framework for building application-specific blockchains.

Used to build Dominium’s Cosmos-based chain.

### EIP-2612 permit

A signature-based approval flow.

Used for “approve-by-signature” style transfers and collections.

### EVM compatibility

Support for Ethereum-style accounts and smart contracts.

Lets developers use common Solidity tooling.

### FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption)

Encryption that allows computation on ciphertext.

Dominium plans to use FHE where it improves privacy guarantees.

### IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication)

A Cosmos-native protocol for cross-chain messaging and asset movement.

### IP asset

An on-chain representation of an IP item.

In Dominium, IP assets embed licensing terms.

### IPFS

Content-addressed storage.

Often used to reference encrypted asset blobs.

### Merkle proof

A compact proof that an item exists in a Merkle tree.

Used for integrity verification.

### Restaking

Economic security provided by staked collateral.

Used to align incentives and deter abuse.

### TEE (Trusted Execution Environment)

A hardware-backed isolated execution environment.

In Dominium, TEEs enable private AI training on licensed IP.

### TEE attestation

A cryptographic proof about the enclave and code executed.

Used to verify training ran inside a genuine TEE.

### Tier (staking tier)

An access level based on how much is staked.

Tiers gate marketplace features and license types.
